COOKIES AND WEB BEACONS

As is commonly done on websites, we, or an authorized third party, may place a cookie or similar tracking technology on your device that collects information, including Personal Information, about your online activities over time and across different sites. A “cookie” is a small text file containing alphanumeric characters that is stored on your computer and uniquely identifies your browser. They allow your browser to send information to the person who installed the cookies for a variety of purposes including offering you optimal navigation, producing statistics on your visits, offering you personalized content, and targeted advertising.

Like many other websites, we may use “Session Cookies” during your current visit to help with site functionality during a particular visit. We may also use “Persistent Cookies”, which allows us to track repeated visits to the Site and enable certain site functionality. For example, “Persistent Cookies” may be used to store Site Preferences to have them set for a user when that user visits the Site at a later date. In some cases, we may link cookies with other information you voluntarily provide on the Site.

We may use cookies to record information that your web browser makes available, such as your browser type, browser language, software and hardware attributes, the date and time of your visit, the website from which you came, and the pages on this Site that you visit. We use this information to help us monitor our Site traffic and understand visitor behavior. To do this, we use technologies such as Java scripting in cooperation with cookies and “web beacons” to track Site traffic. A “web beacon” is an electronic image, called a 1-by-1 “pixel” or “clear GIF”, which can recognize certain types of information on your computer, such as a cookie number, time and date of a page view, and so on. These methods aggregate information that allows us to research patterns of behavior on our site to learn how to better meet our visitors’ needs. Further information about cookies and related technologies and how they work is available at allaboutcookies.org.

We may also use web beacons or pixels to collect information from you in connection with emails that we send, such as email open rates and click-through rates, allowing us to manage the email marketing experience and activity. You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails, by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of marketing emails. Please note that opting out of marketing communications does not opt you out of receiving important business communications related to your current relationship with us, such as communications about your products, service announcements, or security information.

We may use the services and technologies of third parties to collect the cookie and browsing information described here, including for analytics, site management, and advertising. We also permit third parties to use tracking technologies on our site to help manage and display advertisements, and to tailor advertisements to your products or services that may interest you on our site or other sites. Our sites may have features such as, plugins, widgets, or and other tools made available by third parties that may result in information being collected or shared between us and the third party, including social media sites. We may use tracking technologies to help us maintain the security of our sites, maintain and operate our sites, fix bugs, and assist with basic site functions.

For more information on the different cookies and tracking technologies on our Site, go here.

Where required by law, we will obtain your consent to set cookies on your device. Additionally, you can opt out of certain uses of cookies for advertising purposes by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices and you can consult the user instructions for your Internet browser for additional controls relating to the use of cookies, including blocking certain cookies by adjusting the settings on your Internet browser. Choices you make regarding cookies are website, device, and browser specific, and are deleted whenever you clear your cookies or your browser’s cache. This means you need to adjust your cookie preferences on each website, device, and browser you use. If you disable cookies, certain site functions may not work properly or as intended.
