Unite Kuala Lumpur 2024 Inspires Colleague Excellence

On February 22nd to 24th, 200 Convergint colleagues from Southeast Asia, Oceania, and Japan gathered for the Unite Kuala Lumpur conference at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur. A longstanding tradition for Convergint in Asia Pacific and globally, the event provided colleagues with the opportunity to connect in person, learn, recognise achievements, and enjoy moments of fun and laughter. A highlight of the event was the presence of Ken Lochiatto, Board Member and former CEO, alongside CEO Ann Fandozzi, whose presence inspired colleagues with insights into Convergint’s empowering growth culture and promising future.

The two-day event comprised a meticulously curated Colleague Xpo, workshops, breakout sessions, and panel discussions, all designed to empower colleagues with knowledge and skills to deliver service excellence. The Colleague Xpo consisted of 8 booths, including Managed Services, Audio-Visual, and Global Design Centre, and provided colleagues with the opportunity to engage with various departments and business leaders, as well as explore the latest cutting-edge technologies.

The Colleague Xpo also featured a donation booth, which raised funds for Hope Worldwide Malaysia, a charity organisation dedicated to supporting underprivileged families and marginalised communities in Malaysia. This initiative reaffirmed Convergint’s commitment to giving back to the community, a core foundation of Convergint’s culture. Colleagues also participated in workshops and regional breakouts, where they acquired valuable strategies for enhancing productivity, optimising sales, and achieving operational excellence.

During the Executive Presentation and Gala Dinner, 39 colleagues were honoured with various APAC Excellence Awards for their outstanding performance and contributions across different aspects of the business. This year, the Orchid Award was introduced to recognise female colleagues who consistently go the extra mile, inspire others, and embody the Convergint culture. Additionally, long-serving colleagues of 10 years were honoured for their dedication and loyalty.
