On June 7th, Convergint offices around the world closed allowing nearly 10,000 colleagues across 220 global locations to have the opportunity to spend the workday giving back to their local communities for Convergint’s annual Social Responsibility Day.

This year, dozens of colleagues from Brivo joined Convergint in giving back by volunteering at multiple sites. Some projects include:

  • Coordinated volunteer efforts at the VA hospital in Tacoma, WA

  • Volunteered at local food shelters, distributing meals and resources to those in need

  • Organized and participated in a camp clean-up initiative, improving outdoor facilities

  • Engaged in park beautification projects, planting trees and maintaining green spaces for public enjoyment

  • Participated in tree-planting in Bogotá, Colombia, contributing to reforestation and environmental sustainability efforts

  • Cleaning and maintaining horse stalls and other facilities to support outdoor recreation for underserved communities

Convergint was built on a solid foundation of Values and Beliefs. These values and beliefs focus on Convergint’s commitment to customers, colleagues and their families, and communities. One of these values—“we believe in balanced lives”—supports Convergint’s belief that it is important for all colleagues to balance their time, energy, and commitments across families, business, and communities. This belief empowers Convergint colleagues to act generously and responsibly to the people and world around them.
