On June 7th, Convergint offices around the world closed allowing nearly 10,000 colleagues across 220 global locations to have the opportunity to spend the workday giving back to their local communities for Convergint’s annual Social Responsibility Day.

One of the projects this year was at Tarkington Independent School District in Texas, where dozens of Convergint colleagues volunteered and dedicated their Friday to enhancing the district’s facilities. This project was part of Convergint’s STEP Up for Schools program—an initiative to enhance school safety and address security-related challenges in underserved schools. Read the article below to learn more about Convergint Social Responsibility Day at Tarkington Independent School District.

“Thank you, Convergint and its partners, for prioritizing giving back in such a meaningful way. The safety and security of our students is paramount, and anything we can do to enhance and/or add to our safety features improves the overall security posture. Thank you, Convergint. We are grateful to be a recipient of the STEP UP program.”
