Fabian is quickly approaching his 10th year at Convergint leading our SLED business development team. Prior to joining Convergint, Fabian spent 25 years with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department as Chief Network Architect and Senior Technology Manager within the Department’s Technical Services Division. During this time, Fabian worked closely with the State of California Attorney General’s office by serving on the CLETS Technical Committee charged with designing the largest public safety network in the country. He also received numerous awards for his contribution to public safety including an award from the FBI for his work in building out the communications infrastructure for the Southern California Joint Regional Information Center. Because of his technical expertise in communications and public safety, Fabian was invited to serve on Cisco Systems’ Public Sector Technology Advisory Board, and also served in an advisory role to several other technical organizations. Before he left the LASD, he was instrumental in overseeing the implementation of the Department’s IT Governance structure including the implementation of the Department’s Project Management Office and was responsible for starting and overseeing several programs including the Department’s Advanced Surveillance And Protection (ASAP) program (CCTV, automated license plate recognition, and Gunshot Detection), and the Department’s Mobile Data Computer deployment. Fabian holds an MBA and a Computer Science degree from CSULA.

Mr. Michael Dixon is a Strategic Account Manager at Genetec Inc. He joined security in 2006 coming from the TV and Film industry where he worked on popular TV shows like Renegade and Silk Stockings. He began his professional security journey at Insight Video Net as a Sales Engineer deploying Genetec Omnicast at over 2,000 schools in the greater New York area with IBM and the New York Department of Education. Since then, Michael spent 8 years rising through the ranks at Panasonic in the Public Sector to earn the role of National Sales Director. In 2014 he returned to the VMS platform that launched his career, and joined the team at Genetec. He is passionate about providing high-tech tools to the public sector and K-12 market to help provide a safer environment for his fellow Americans.
