On Monday, the 14th of November 2022, Convergint UK joined ASIS UK for the Men’s Mental Health Awareness Event at The British Library. This event took place in Self Care Week and celebrated International Men’s Mental Health Day. The event consisted of hearing from many different professionals within the security industry, including Edwyn Van Rooyen, CEO, T-Cup, Dan Reed, Regional Manager, STM Group (UK) Ltd, and Liam Johnson, Executive Director, The Railway Mission.
The event closed with a panel of experts speaking on the challenges of mental health in the workplace. The panel including Seetan Varsani, Divisional Director, London Corps Security. Riyaz Somani, Head of Security, The British Library. Chris Middleton, Director of Major Accounts & Strategic Development, Corps Security, and Convergint UK’s Ann Jeffrey, Compliance Manager EMEA. Following the speakers and the panel discussion, the guests enjoyed networking and a tour of the british library.
