In late January, Convergint India colleagues gathered at the JW Marriott Bangalore Prestige Golfshire Resort for the Unite Bangalore 2024. This event marked a significant moment for the team, bringing together colleagues in diverse roles from across the country to celebrate outstanding achievements, foster collaboration, and reinforce the Values and Beliefs that form the foundation of Convergint’s culture. Notably, Convergint Global CEO Ken Lochiatto and Said Kiwan, Managing Director of Convergint UAE, were also among the distinguished attendees.
Similar to Unite conferences across APAC and the globe, Unite Bangalore aimed to create a unique space for colleagues to connect, exchange ideas, and share their experiences.
The two-day event featured a diverse range of sessions, including the Colleague Xpo, which encompassed discussions about the Global IT Delivery Centre, Global Design Centre, Convergint India’s Greenlight social responsibility initiative, career development, audio visual capabilities, and operational excellence. One of the highlights of the event was the engaging session, wherein colleagues shared their personal journeys at the company, emphasizing the Values and Beliefs that have shaped their experiences. Breakout sessions provided additional insights and skills-building opportunities for colleagues, with topics focused on service excellence, best practices, and Convergint India capabilities, empowering colleagues to contribute effectively to the company’s goals.
A formal awards ceremony on the second day showcased the tradition of acknowledging outstanding performance. APAC Excellence Awards were presented to 48 colleagues to recognise achievements across diverse aspects of the business. Additionally, special recognition was given to long-serving colleagues who reached the impressive milestone of 10 years with the organisation.
