On June 7th, Convergint celebrated Social Responsibility Day (CSRD) globally. The Convergint India team, in collaboration with partners including Assa Abloy, Axis Communications, GSAC, Hanwha and installation partners including Payaswini Integrated Solutions, A K N Electricals, Deepika Technical Services, M R S Security Solutions, Shri Raghavendra Power Systems, took up transformative projects to uplift local communities. From Gurugram to Bengaluru, Mumbai to Chennai, Hyderabad and beyond, colleagues united to spread joy and make a difference.
Gurugram
Convergint colleagues supported Captain Chandan Lal Special Middle School for the Blind by painting the school walls with vibrant colours, infused with creativity and love. Colleagues also planted 25 trees, nurturing nature’s beauty and fostering for a greener tomorrow.
Mumbai
Partnering with the local municipal corporation, Mumbai colleagues planted 400 bamboo trees near Convergint’s Mumbai office. Each sapling symbolises their dedication to environmental sustainability and their commitment to a healthier ecosystem for future generations.
Chennai
In a rural village near Chennai, colleagues collaborated with the Healer Foundation to spread happiness and hope. They donated 50 bags of rice to mitigate hunger and provided 100 school bags, empowering young minds with the tools for a brighter future.
Hyderabad
Hyderabad colleagues renovated a public park, breathing new life into the community space. Their efforts included laying green grass beds, planting 60 saplings, and cleaning and painting the area, transforming it into a vibrant hub for leisure and recreation.
Bengaluru
Colleagues in Bengaluru were divided into three groups, each focusing on empowerment and environmental care. One group visited Deepa Academy for the Differently Abled, providing much-needed computers to support learning. Another group planted 50 trees in collaboration with Save Green NGO, contributing to a greener, healthier environment. The third team contributed to a STEP Up (Secure, Train, Educate, Protect) program for schools—an initiative to enhance school safety and address security-related challenges in underserved schools by installing security surveillance systems. Colleagues also helped revamp school walls and ensure safe electrical systems to create a conducive learning environment for kids.
