The National Intergovernmental Purchasing Alliance (National IPA) is a leading cooperative purchasing organization established for public agencies across the U.S. with the specific purpose of reducing procurement costs by leveraging group volume. Convergint Technologies holds contracts in Security Services and Facility Technology Integration Solutions.
All cooperative agreements are competitively publicly awarded by a public agency or governmental entity, utilizing the best public procurement practices, processes, and procedures. By utilizing these agreements, agencies eliminate duplication of effort and save valuable time, resources, and money.
Eligible public agencies include:

- County government
- City & local government
- Primary education systems
- Higher education systems
- Nonprofit agencies for public benefit
- Other public agencies
Under the National IPA contract, Convergint offers security integration from select partners: Altronix Corporation, AMAG Technology, Axis Communications, Bosch, EST/Edwards, Exacq, Fluid Mesh, HID, Hirsch Electronics, Milestone, OnSSI, S2 Security, Silent Knight, Stentofon, Verint, and Vicon Industries. In addition to partner offerings, Convergint is listed with the National IPA preferred rates for installation labor, service labor, system monitoring, and Customer Support Programs (CSPs).
The National IPA contract became effective in May 2012 and joins Convergint’s growing list of public sector contracts, including GSA Schedules 70 and 84, National IPA, and state contracts with Delaware, New York, Oklahoma, and Texas.
