The customer, a global appliance manufacturer with operations in over 70 countries and 14,000 employees worldwide, sought a scalable and high-quality security system to ensure the safety of its new multi-storied facility in Singapore.

The Milestone Corporate video management software (VMS) was chosen for its flexibility and scalability. The open architecture solution allowed integrations such as analytics and access control.

Throughout the project, tight communication was maintained with the customer’s team responsible for configuring the system. Leveraging Milestone’s open and flexible platform, Convergint was able to optimise security operations while complying with their strict IT demands.

The final solution incorporated over 200 network video cameras, including specialised explosion-proof and low-light outdoor cameras, strategically planned throughout the facility. Despite the challenges of remote collaboration, the ease of use of the Milestone software facilitated the coordination.
