Presented by Convergint Technologies

As schools begin to reopen, the safety of students and staff is extremely important. Convergint and Motorola Solution’s Avigilon can employ solutions to manage safety in a post-COVID-19 landscape.

Join Convergint Strategic Business Development: State, Local & Education (SLED) Dave Klug, Convergint Advanced Solutions Identity Assurance Principal Doug Greenwald, and Avigilon Director of Business Development – Education Randy Welch for a virtual panel on navigating this transition. The panel discussion will examine solutions for a safe school reopening. The panel will take place on Thursday, August 27 at 10 AM EDT.

Learn from our experts as they discuss:

  • Social Distancing
AI-powered analytics on video security cameras can continuously monitor social distancing efforts within your facility. Facility managers can run a report of when social distancing violations occur, as well as recognize high violation zones and times requiring corrective measures.

  • Face Mask Detection Technology
Individuals not following health guidelines around the use of protective face masks can be detected using video analytics on video security cameras. Facility managers can generate reports to better understand compliance levels to determine if corrective action or further education is necessary.

  • Occupancy Counting Technology
Avigilon cameras and ACC™ software leverage AI-powered video analytics to detect and track the ingress of people into your establishment. The technology helps automate the counting of people entering and exiting a facility. Results display in cloud-based dashboards that empower operators to know how many people are inside at any given time, determine peak periods, and understand high traffic entry or exit points that require more attention.

  • Thermal Camera Technology
Increase the efficiency of traditional physical screening efforts with a high-throughput and contactless method of pre-screening people at access points. The H4 Thermal Elevated Temperature Detection solution detects and notifies operators of people with elevated skin temperatures, so that further evaluation may take place.
